Download your data

On the Privacy and data page, choose Download my data. You get a JSON file with your profile, publications, revisions, comments, votes, bookmarks and other records linked to you.

Delete your account

Also on the Privacy and data page: press Delete my account. Deleting is final:

  • your email, profile, avatar, bookmarks, drafts and unpublished items are erased;
  • your publications and comments stay, signed as “deleted user”, so conversations remain readable — if you want something gone, delete it before deleting the account;
  • payment records are kept anonymised as long as the law requires.

What we collect and why

The privacy policy lists every kind of data, the legal basis and how long we keep it. A few highlights: no tracking cookies by default, anti-spam signals about devices and networks are kept for 90 days, and texts are sent to a translation provider only under the published translation policy.
