Advertising policy
Advertising on Muhamor takes the form of clearly labelled sponsored publications inside topic categories. This policy explains the formats, what we accept and what we never publish.
1. Formats and prices

Prices are a starting point and may change based on demand; the price shown when you order is the one you pay. All active placements are also listed in the “Ads” section so they are easy to find.
2. Labelling and transparency
- The “Ad” label is visible in the feed and on the publication itself.
- Every placement shows who the advertiser is and, if different, who paid for it (article 26 of the Digital Services Act).
- All links in sponsored publications carry
rel="sponsored". - Ads are placed by topic and language only. We do not target advertising using personal data, profiling or sensitive data.
- Sponsored publications do not earn points, do not take part in rankings and are not marked up as community discussions.
3. Comments stay open
Readers can comment on sponsored publications. Advertisers cannot delete or hide critical comments; only moderators can, and only for breaking the community rules.
4. Review before publication
Every placement is reviewed by a moderator before it goes live. We may ask for changes, proof of claims or licences. We do not accept advertising for:
- gambling, casinos, betting and lotteries;
- pyramid and Ponzi schemes, multi-level marketing, “get rich quick” offers, unlicensed investment and crypto-asset schemes;
- medical promises, miracle cures, prescription medicines, weight-loss “guarantees”;
- adult and sexual content, dating services aimed at sexual encounters;
- weapons, ammunition, explosives, tobacco, e-cigarettes and recreational drugs;
- counterfeit goods, hacking and account-selling services, fake reviews or followers;
- political and issue-based advertising;
- persons and entities under EU sanctions, and anything illegal in Estonia or the European Union.
5. No advertising aimed at Russia
We do not sell advertising targeted at audiences in the Russian Federation. Russian-language advertising aimed at readers outside Russia is accepted under the same rules as any other advertising.
6. Payment, removal and refunds
- Placements are prepaid through Stripe. Business customers in the EU are invoiced under the reverse-charge VAT rules where applicable.
- If we remove a placement through our fault, we refund the unused days pro rata.
- If a placement is removed because it breaks this policy or the law, there is no refund. The advertiser receives a statement of reasons and can appeal.
