Report illegal content (DSA)
This page explains how to report illegal content on Muhamor and how to contact us under the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, “DSA”).
1. Report illegal content
Anyone can report content they consider illegal — you do not need an account. Fill in the notice form, use the “Report” button next to any publication or comment and choose “Illegal content”, or send an email to hello@muhamor.com.
No account needed. You get a confirmation and the decision by email.
To let us act quickly, a notice should contain (DSA article 16):
- an explanation of why you consider the content illegal;
- the exact address (URL) of the content;
- your name and email address — except when you report content that may involve child sexual abuse, which you can report anonymously;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your notice is accurate and complete.
We confirm receipt, review the notice carefully and objectively, and tell you our decision and how to challenge it. Notices are processed by people; automated tools only help to sort them.
2. If your content is restricted
When we remove or restrict content, suspend features or close an account, the person concerned receives a statement of reasons (DSA article 17): what was restricted, the facts and the rule it is based on, whether automated means were used, and the available ways to challenge the decision.
3. Complaints and out-of-court settlement
- Within six months of a decision you can file a complaint through our internal complaint system (DSA article 20). It is reviewed by a person other than the one who made the decision.
- You can also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body (DSA article 21) or to a court.
4. Misuse
We may, after a warning, temporarily stop processing notices from people who frequently submit manifestly unfounded notices, and suspend accounts that frequently post manifestly illegal content (DSA article 23). Notices from trusted flaggers designated under DSA article 22 are handled with priority.
