Saw Saturn's rings for the first time last night
I’ve had a small telescope for a few months and mostly looked at the Moon. Last night the sky was clear, I found Saturn, and there they were: tiny, tilted, unmistakable rings.
It’s a strange feeling to see something with your own eyes that you’ve only ever seen in pictures. What was the first thing in the sky that made you go “wow”?
Вот это круто. Я в детстве пытался в бинокль, видел только дрожащую точку. Сколько у тебя увеличение?
Around 100x with the small eyepiece. Honestly a steady tripod matters more than the number, mine wobbles if I breathe on it
Aż mam ciarki jak to czytam. Muszę kiedyś spróbować!
