Limits and why they exist
How many publications, comments, links, reports and new private conversations you get per level — and what happens when you hit a limit.
Limits protect conversations from floods and spam bots. They are counted per account and also per device and network, so new accounts can't be used to get around them.
| Action | L1 Sprout | L2 Young | L3 Mighty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Publications per day | 2 | 5 | 10 |
| Seconds between comments | 60 | 20 | 5 |
| Comments per hour | 15 | 60 | 120 |
| Links per publication, comment or message | after review* | 3 | 10 |
| Image uploads per day | 10 | 50 | 200 |
| Video uploads per day | 2 | 5 | 20 |
| Reports per day | 5 | 20 | 50 |
| New private conversations per day | 3 | 20 | 50 |
* Publications and comments from a Sprout (L1) with links appear after a moderator checks them. Links in private messages open at L2.
Replying in a private conversation you already have is not limited by the new-conversations number — only by a high hourly limit that stops message floods.
With Premium a mighty mushroom can publish up to 20 publications a day. Nothing else in this table can be bought.
What happens when I hit a limit?
The form tells you how much is left and when the counter resets. Nothing is lost: your text stays in the editor, and drafts are saved.
Why am I limited if I did nothing wrong?
Shared networks (offices, mobile carriers) count together, with a generous allowance. If you keep hitting a limit while writing in good faith, tell us at hello@muhamor.com.
