Install Muhamor on your phone or computer

In short: Muhamor has no app in the App Store or Google Play. The site itself installs from the browser, gets an icon on your home screen and opens in its own window. It is the same site with the same account, and updates arrive by themselves.

Android (Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet)

Once you have visited Muhamor on 2 different days, or right after you publish or comment, a small Install offer appears at the bottom of the screen. Press it and confirm.

You can also install at any time from the browser menu: ⋮ → Install app (in some browsers it is called Add to Home screen).

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

1. Open Muhamor in Safari.
2. Tap Share (the square with an arrow).
3. Choose Add to Home Screen and confirm.

Then open Muhamor from the new icon. Only the installed app can send push notifications: on iPhone and iPad, Apple allows them only for sites added to the Home Screen. Turn push on in your notification settings. More about push: Notifications, digests and push.

Computer (Chrome, Edge)

Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install Muhamor. The app opens in its own window and appears among your programs.

If you press "Not now"

We won't offer it again for 30 days. The offer sits at the bottom of the screen and never covers the page.

Without a connection

The app keeps only its design files on your device, never your pages or messages. Reading needs the internet. Without a connection you see a "No connection" page. Once you are back online, tap "Try again" and the same page opens.

Removing the app

Remove it like any other app: press and hold the icon and choose remove (Android, iPhone, iPad), or uninstall it from the menu of the app window (computer). Your account and everything you wrote stay as they are. Muhamor keeps working in the browser.
