Your experience is worth something

Help people for free, grow into a trusted author, then sell your deepest articles. Readers pay with money or points; you keep 80% after VAT and payment fees, paid out monthly, and the copyright stays yours. Payouts currently go to bank accounts in the EU, the UK, the US and a few other countries — the full list is below.

What one sale brings you

An estimate for a reader in the EU, where VAT is included in the price. Exact amounts depend on the reader's country and card.

Article priceVAT (est.)Card fee (est.)You getOr unlock with
$1$0.17$0.32$0.40100 points
$5$0.84$0.44$2.97500 points
$20$3.34$0.88$12.622000 points

Your share is 80%, ours 20%, after VAT and the payment provider's fee. A points unlock pays you about the same as a purchase: we pay it from our share. Each sale is held for 14 days in case of a refund, then the money becomes available. Payouts go out once a month from $20, straight to your bank via Stripe.

From first publication to first payout

Paid articles open up once people already trust your work. It keeps the shop window free of spam and the price tags honest.

  1. Grow to a mighty mushroom

Level L3: 30 days on the site, 20 positively rated publications or comments, no sanctions for 30 days.

  2. Connect payouts

A short identity check with Stripe Connect (required by law). Payouts go to bank accounts in the countries listed below. For your first paid article you also need 90 days without sanctions.

  3. Write the article

Set a price from $1 to $20 and a free teaser of at least 20% so readers know what they get. The paid part is not machine-translated, so write it in the language of the readers you want.

  4. Review, then earn

A moderator checks originality and quality within 48 hours. Then every sale and points unlock pays you.

Why readers can trust a paid article

Every paid article passes a human review.

We decline three kinds of text. Not original: 30% or more matches elsewhere. Thin: less than 2000 characters in the paid part, or clearly generated without real experience. Misleading: the paid part does not deliver what the teaser promised.

Readers can ask for a refund within 24 hours if an article does not match its teaser. Up to 3 paid articles per author per week. Payouts currently go only to bank accounts in the EU, Norway, Liechtenstein, the UK, Switzerland, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. You can still write, earn points and grow your level from any country.

Not selling? Free writing helps you grow too

When the author of a question marks your comment as the helpful answer, you get 10 points. Outstanding publications can become editors' picks: +30 points, and they may appear in the editors' picks on the home page. Points unlock other authors' paid articles. They are not money and never turn into reputation.

Author questions

Do I keep the copyright?

Yes. You grant Muhamor a licence to show, translate and distribute your text on the platform, as described in the terms. Buyers may read it for personal use only.

I'm new. Can I sell right away?

Not yet. Paid articles open at level L3, after you have helped people for a while, and only if you have had no sanctions in the last 90 days. Payouts must also work in your country: see the list in Payouts. Start with free publications and helpful answers — they bring points and trust.

What price should I set?

Think about the time your experience saves a reader. For a short practical guide, start near $1; deep research with data can go up to $20.

What if a reader asks for a refund?

Refunds are possible within 24 hours when an article doesn't match its teaser. A moderator checks each request; abuse is tracked. If a refund is approved, the earning for that sale is cancelled.

Can I edit a paid article after it is published?

No. Once a moderator approves a paid article, it is locked. To change it, write to the moderators from the article's sale settings and say what to change; they reopen the review. The paid part must stay true to the teaser: readers bought what it promised.

How much will I get per sale?

You get 80% of what remains after VAT and the card fee, so the exact amount depends on the reader's country and card. The “What one sale brings you” table on the For authors page shows estimates for several prices, and after each sale the exact amount appears in your author dashboard.
